Pupil Digital Leaders
We are delighted to have a group of excellent pupil digital leaders who love to share their learning.
They have enjoyed speaking to visitors to the school and at parents evenings. Two pairs also attended the Scottish Learning Festival 2019 to share our story.
One pupil even came into school on an Inservice day to help train staff!
Staff
Staff share their learning with each other all the time! This is through conversations, sharing practice sessions and training. Several staff have also run training sessions and presentations for teachers across the local authority.
We like to celebrate our staff achievements! 100% of our teaching staff are Apple Teachers – they all have an apple on our display board in reception, a sign for their door and we also send out a tweet.
Miss Douglas is an Apple Professional Learning Specialist and Mr Willan is an Apple Certified Trainer in App Development with Swift. This means there is always someone to help staff with their professional learning!
Some staff are also certified Microsoft Innovative Educators (around a quarter) , two staff are Microsoft Certified Educators and one is a MIE Expert and Trainer.
